The Spirituality of Death Bed Visions

My son Scott at 19 was afflicted with an aggressive form of pediatric cancer called Desmoplastic Small Round-Cell Tumor. It is a cancer that primarily strikes adolescent and young adult men. He received his diagnosis early in 2008.

After a grueling year-long treatment, he and his doctors managed a brief period of remission. Unfortunately, as expected, his disease relapsed shortly before Thanksgiving 2010. We would have 5 more months with our son before he passed on April 27, 2011. He was 22.
